Weekly programs teach beginner, intermediate and advanced players the skills to compete in and enjoy the game of volleyball. Kids will be placed on the same courts as their friend requests and their skill peers.
What to Expect: ‘Skills & Games’ programs consist of 50% skills and 50% games and the games often have a skill focus (for example, extra points for executing a certain skill developed during that session). We use a positive coaching style which means we reinforce positively what we want the kids to do instead of focusing on errors. We encourage and reward good teamwork and team culture. Groups will be put together based on friend requests and by similar skill/age. If your child is advanced, feel free to register them in an older grade than their current grade.
Smash Compete sessions are 90% game play and 10% skill development. Players that have just finished the 13U/14U Girls Development team season are encouraged to register for this program for more gameplay opportunity.
